The TK turns 5

This year marks the Fifth Anniversary for the Tashiro Kaplan Artist Lofts. Join residents as they celebrate 5 years of living and creating in the TK. Several loft homes will be open to the public. Tashiro Kaplan Artists Lofts opened in June of 2004 to provide 50 units of affordable housing and work space for artists and their families, and commercial space for arts organizations and arts-related businesses. Developed by Artspace Projects, Inc. and the Pioneer Square Community Association, the TK is conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown Pioneer Square in Seattle.

On Thursday, Oct 1, Bullivant Houser Bailey PC will be hosting the Fall Exhibit for Path With Art (http://www.pathwithart.org/) in their downtown Seattle office, from 6-8 p.m. Path with Art is a local non-profit that provides art programming to previously homeless and economically disadvantaged adults, many of whom are struggling with addiction and recovery issues. Path With Art has the goal of using the creative process as a tool for self-discovery and self-expression, for developing self-confidence, and for building community. Light appetizers will served as artists discuss their creative works. Art Walk participants are welcome and encouraged to attend. Bullivant is located on the 23rd Floor of the Westlake Tower, 1601 Fifth Avenue, Suite 2300, Seattle 98101.
