Special Performance Art: during First Thursday Art Walk and right before the Live Auction on Friday
Seattle's own ticktock post modern aerial circus and dance company will perform their "ticktock vs. Perseus". Intrigued by the intersection of visual art and performance, post-modern aerial dance company ticktock has created a short experimental performance using Miguel Edwards' sculpture, Perseus, fresh from "Heaven and Earth II", our Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition at Carkeek Park, as the landscape.
City Arts Blog says it's "It Beats the Flying Trapeze", in their review of this spectacular performance.

Then come to the auction on Friday night and see the finished work, bid on it, and own a piece that you saw being made just the day before. You get great art (and a great meal from Cafe Paloma!), the artists makes some money, and CoCA's mission is sustained with your support. Where else can you stretch your money like that? See you there!
This event benefits the Center on Contemporary Art, a 501c3 organization, and is open to CoCA members and the public.
